Marianne Phan - Legal Director

Marianne Phan is the Principal Lawyer at Phan Campbell & Associates Lawyers. She has extensive experience in commercial law, construction and building disputes, insolvency, property law and family law, advising clients on high-stakes disputes and transactions across Victoria.

Marianne also brings valuable in-house experience, having served as Legal Counsel at a national organisation. In that role she advised on large-scale property development projects involving government stakeholders, assisted with complex corporate restructuring of group entities, managed litigation nationally across multiple Australian jurisdictions, addressed tenancy and housing-related issues, and reviewed and negotiated a wide range of commercial and construction contracts.

Marianne's approach emphasises meticulous preparation, direct advice, and outcomes aligned with each client's objectives. She is practical and solutions-oriented, and experienced in handling technically challenging disputes with discretion.

In 2022, Marianne was named a finalist for Litigator of the Year at the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards, and a finalist in the Construction and Infrastructure category of the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 awards. In 2023, she was named a finalist in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation category of the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 awards.

Her work includes both advisory and dispute resolution. She supports clients through negotiation, preparation, and legal proceedings, with a focus on clear direction and measured outcomes.
